Vacation!
June 19, 2018So today is our last day of vacation at Orange Beach, Alabama! I am so thankful I was able to have this opportunity to unwind and reset as well as spend time with loved ones. We spent the majority of our time bouncing back and forth between the beach, indoor pools, lazy river, and hot tub. Last night we ate supper at Lambert’s Cafe, and it was delicious. If you ever have the chance to go, I highly recommend it! I ordered the hamburger steak with mushrooms, onions, and pepper with boiled carrots and cucumbers and onions. The cucumbers and onions tasted like bread and butter pickles which are my favorite!
I am already looking forward to coming back next year! And I am proud of myself for being mostly on point with my diet! My weakness this trip has been the alcoholic beverages. BUT I am a big believer in moderation. Do I indulge everyday? Nope. You need to enjoy yourself every now and then. After all, what is life if you can’t enjoy good food and drink every now and then? Am I a little bloated now? Yep... But that’s okay! I’ll get back to my normal schedule when we return home. Fortunately, I have been able to maintain my workouts. It has been nice to workout with a beautiful view of the beach.
