Funky Monkey Protein Shake Recipe

One of my most favorite flavor combinations involves chocolate, peanut butter, and bananas. When I found a dark chocolate protein powder I liked, I played around with various amounts until I got it just right.

Now I’m not going to lie, The Kashi Dark Chocolate protein powder tastes pretty terrible. So why do I like it? Because it is plant based and gentle on my stomach! Needless to say, I needed to mask up the terrible flavor.

The end result is amazing! It tastes like a healthier version of a Wendy’s frosty. If you know of a chocolate protein powder that doesn’t taste terrible, I suggest you use it instead!

1 banana
2-3 tablespoons of peanut butter
1-2 scoops chocolate protein powder
1/2 teaspoon of honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
8-12 ounces of almond milk
1.5 cups of crushed ice

Combine all of these ingredients into your blender, and ta-da! Yummy milkshake!
