After about a month of scheduling and not being able to make hair appointments due to scheduling conflicts, the stars finally aligned for Gunner to get his hair cut! Earlier in the week we tried, but as luck would have it, it decided to rain on the way. You are probably thinking, "Rain... meh... Who bails out on a hair appointment because of rain?" Well, as soon as I left the driveway and started heading towards The Salon (I have to be the only person in world amused that the the hair salon's name is The Salon), it started raining... badly. So badly that I couldn't even see the road. I had to turn around, go back to the house, and cancel the appointment.

But we finally made it! Gunner was pumped because this was his first time to really pick his hair style and cut. He claimed Bulbasaur (yes, Bulbasaur the Pokemon) as his inspiration for this particular haircut/style.

I have to admit, I kind of have a love/hate relationship with my son getting his haircut. I LOVE that he loves getting his haircut and styled and that he cares about his personal appearance... But I also hate the fact that he always looks significantly older after he gets it cut!
